Ubuntu users and event handling

 Hello everyone,

I just wanted to ask you if the metawear can be used for C++ programming in Ubuntu 14.04 OS.
Also, i discovered a video :    
where the programmer has to handle two different events (push button and tap the board). Do you believe that i could have as two different events the continuous pressing (of the board , buzzer, button , etc) and the releasing of it?

    Any device with a Bluetooth 4.0 radio can connect to the MetaWear.  We have started a C++ library that you can use however it does not currently have the advanced features you would need to recreate the aforementioned video.  You can learn more about the library in the linked thread.
