What does your setup code look like? Did you setup the 800Hz and correct G range?
-
Range function?
-
@jjm345, @segfaultking, I will need more information to comment. What does your setup look like. Why is it unreliable? How is in unreliable and so on.

I am not planning on updating the app with this feature in mind. Instead I updated the ios swift test suite to include example code for this use-case so that you can code it yourself. That being said the metawear app just got an update and the meta…

We don't have a planned date atm. We may just give away the source code and you can do what you want with it. Thoughts?
-
USB is released for Python already.
-
We have removed the MetaRom until it is updated.

* No this is not possible. streaming requires a connection. You could try to go into logging mode instead after a disconnect and then back to streaming once it connects again (use our event module). * You would need to do this in software.

Hi Peter, It's hard to see if there is a broken lead in the pictures. I would have to inspect the board. If you want, you can send me the board for inspection. I PMed you details.

You can use low power modes on the bosch sensors combined with the any motion functionality for this.
-
HI @rabee05, we have a picture in our tutorials of the x,y,z. You can use third party javascript libraries to manipulate quaternions.
-
Unfortunately I do not have enough information to comment, please see https://mbientlab.com/community/discussion/3167/how-to-report-an-issue#latest
-
That sounds right, you would need to do some minor adjustments to our code base to work with your dongles.
-
@Srinivasa, we may be able to do one thing in firmware which is disable 2M PHY via the SDK. Would that work for you?
-
Hey @Srinivasa, we wrote the firmware so that whatever the master requests, the slave (i.e the metawear) will do. The issue is that the bluetooth libraries we use on the software side (smartphone, computer... such as core bluetooth in the swift sdk…

@rabee05, it's just a raspberry pi so any linux dongle that works on a pi will do. There's lots of websites on this subject: https://forbiddenbroadway.com/raspberry-pi-bluetooth-dongle/ Personally I just go on amazon and find something cheap with d…

Is the battery getting shorted or are the wires looking like they are about to disconnect? It might help if you had photos.
-
A tablet? A friends phone? A family phone?

quaternions are the easiest to work with mathematically but they are not "human readable" so you always have to convert them to euler at the very end. You can do more research on this online as you mentioned.
-
For our MetaRom we use quaternions.
-
Streaming does have a max throughput of about 125Hz. Downloading does not interrupt logging.
-
This has already been fixed and is currently waiting release on the Apple app store.
-
This is unfortunately not done on the sensors side but rather on the OS/smartphone/computer side. You have to look at the calls/settings for your master device, not our sensor (our sensor just does what the master tells it to).
-
Can you explain this in more detail? What are you trying to do exactly? What data are you getting? Please see https://mbientlab.com/community/discussion/3167/how-to-report-an-issue#latest
-
It is not a Firmware error, it is an App error and we are working on fixing this with Apple asap. You can still use the App and it does not affect you in any way.
-
Did you look at the dongle example in github?
-
Unfortunately it depends a lot of the os, even with pi. It's also a pain when some items are deprecated depending on the BLE release. There is a decent list here: https://linuxhint.com/linux-compatible-bluetooth-dongles/ I like to go on amazon and…

Can you please post more information? Please see https://mbientlab.com/community/discussion/3167/how-to-report-an-issue
-
It is normal for them to have the same address which is a bit of a pain depending on which os/language you work with. You might need to get two dongles from different manufacturers for your app.

Thanks Peter!
