You can swipe left and delete old sessions. Please see the tutorial videos here: www.mbientlab.com/gettingstarted (links are in the MetaBase details).
-
Please post a stream of the calibration_state_data_signal as it changes and your BLE logs if possible.
-
Can you confirm that by the time you are ready to download, the sensor is in record mode and advertising for a connection? Does this happen at all when streaming?
-
@rlin, Can you confirm that after the disconnects you did not drop the sensors (this would affect calibration). Can you also confirm that you have not attempted a re-calibration sequence by holding the sensors as desribed here: https://mbientlab.c…

@denisb The Matlab tutorials are also a good way to go (they work with Python as well): https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Matlab.html

@jafetb, A few caveats about groups: * It works best when the sensors in the group are the same type (MMC) * It works best when the sensors in the group are on the same firmware and hardware rev (check this with the MetaBase app) If it wo…

There is a "clear entries" API call you can use. Here is the CPP doc: https://mbientlab.com/documents/metawear/cpp/0/logging_8h.html#a70edf0c3932da841bc31311e3fb3cd11 Otherwise a firmware update would do the trick as well.

@gjin, Do you ever get this timestamp issue when you use our MetaBase App instead of the APIs?
-
@gjin, Have you tried exporting in a different format. Sometimes emailing the data loses a few data files but if you text the data or use Dropbox/BOX to sync, it works just fine. Try to export your data in a different way then you currently do.
-
I also recommend using the log function instead of streaming so that the bluetooth connection isn't constantly on.

We do not have estimates we can provide you. It is up to you to get a fresh battery and calculate this yourself using a DMM or similar tool. Everyone uses the sensors differently and the lifetime of the device depends on sensors, frequencies/sampli…
-
@Tobias, We are here to provide you with the sensor data. Everyone does something different with it so all we do is make sure you get as much raw data as possible. After that it is up to you to calibrate the sensor and use the data properly as…

@gjin, Please send reproducible steps, we still aren't seeing this error and no reports from other users either.
-
@thorssonmax, Thank you for confirming the dead battery. It should work just fine with the replacement. Re-start this thread if you have any issues with the new battery.
-
I can't reproduce on my side as I am not getting this error with timestamps and no one has filed a similar error. Can you re-install the app, try with other devices and get back to us. Worst case, just fix the timestamps by hand.

Seems like whatever tool you are using to read the data is not reading it correctly. This happens in excel all the time because it attempts to read a Number as a String or Date instead. Try opening the same file using a different viewer like VIM …

You can't trust any software values. Even hardware values (with a DMM) I typically don't trust unless done by a professional engineer.
-
@PaulPomTeam, Thank for the update. As per my previous thread, you should handle automatic reconnects and connection failures.
-
@Sprettur, One sensor malfunctioning could be a bad unit. But when more than one sensor is "malfunctioning", it is usually a symptom of something else (like your smartphone is old or you forgot to charge your sensors). Try getting a few diagno…

Here is some info: * if battery is 100% charged and with no load, expect 4.0-4.2V * if battery is greater than 3.8v it is nearly full and working * if battery is 3.0V or less, it is fully discharged (it it stays at or below this, the battery …

@thorssonmax, Do you have a technician or engineering buddy handy that could solder a new battery on for you? You can buy lipo batteries at your local hobby store, on amazon or even on our store: www.mbientlab.com/store https://www.amazon.com/Y…
-
@Sprettur, If you think the board is defective, just fill out an RMA form: www.mbientlab.com/troubleshooting. We will take care of you.
-
follow tutorials: www.mbientlab.com/tutorials -> try the videos

There is no new metawearc. You bought two metamotioncs and two metawearcs...you are comparing very different boards (apple and oranges here). Closing thread.
-
@peejaay, Awesome, thanks for the update.
-
@mvela1, Thanks for the update.
-
@thorssonmax, Generally you can tell it is puffy if you feel it (when you press the battery, you can feel there is an air space/gap inside). Please get back to me on this. How long has it been since you ordered?
-
@denisb, Wonderful!
-
@Tobias, Thanks for the update. Could have been some outdated XCODE or missing libraries perhaps? Either way I am glad you got it working. Please follow the steps in our iOS tutorial on your next install: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Apple.h…
