Have there been any more issues with streaming data to a Nexus 5 since the firmware was updated to v.1.2.5? I'm hoping to buy a phone for my research project, and want to select one with no streaming issues.

Success. Firmware update solved the issue.

I just noticed that the release notes of Metahub say to use firmware v.1.2.4, which I'm not certain mine are updated to. I'll confirm that and see if the issue persists.
