Follow our new tutorials down to the letter (EVERY SINGLE STEP NEEDS TO BE DONE): https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Windows.html Get back to me when this is done or send screenshots of the failed step (let us know exactly when you diverge from the tu…

You need to handle disconnects and automatically re-connect. This is typical of Bluetooth. A disconnect or a failed connection is very typical in Bluetooth and should always be handled with smart code. If the disconnect is happening every few se…

What is your error now? metawear is installed so our stuff is fine. It seems your bluetooth or permissions are wrong and that's nothing to do with us...

@tpgutowski If you continue to spam with useless information, you will be banned from this forum

Follow the tutorials line by line: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Windows.html

can't help you if you won't share more information and screenshots prove to us your setup is correct...go through every single step of the tutorial...

We do not support the MetaBase App on Windows tablets or phones, only computers. Did you try the Android App, iOS App, or the Windows App on a full machine instead?
-
Erase your stuff and start fresh from the tutorial since clearly your system is messed up somehow.
-
ok.

Our stuff works fine; I just tested it myself. You need to follow the tutorials: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Windows.html

Try the full install and each step as per the tutorials: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Linux.html

* mbientware should work with Python 3, correct? Yes, this is in our tutorials already: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials * And since the Tutorial mentions that a Matlab licence is required to run mbient software on Windows 10. Seriously - do…

@tpgutowski said: I noticed that when I enter 'python --version' it shows python2 instead of 3. However I am unable to install metawear to python 2 . I am also wondering if it is necessary to create a hub if we do not have one. I d…

Looks like you are missing bluetooth libraries, please make sure you have those installed. Follow the bluetooth related steps here: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/MetaHub.html#build-your-own-hub

@abcd, I ran on my Windows10 machine with a MMC at 1.4.4 and it works fine. I tried both logging and streaming quaternions and the data was perfect: Can you please: * Update your Bluetooth drivers: https://support.microsoft.com/en-u…

Does it work on an iPhone and Android device? Can you send information about your Windows machine? Your link doesn't work. Post on Youtube.

can you show the crash?

MetaMotionR+ has a coin vibration motor on it already placed on the HCD pin and ground. It is used to gently vibrate the board much like when your smartphone gets a call in silent mode. You can buy a coin vibration motor and solder it yourself to yo…

In all of cases, this has been fixed with a fresh battery or the hard reset + iPhone combo. You will need to try both. First try the reset + iphone combo step. If that doesn't work, try the same thing again while keeping the mmr plugged in at all…

Well there's a few things you could do. Try to see if it works with fewer devices on the i2c and power/gnd lines to verify my theory first. Then if it is the power, you will need to beef things up with a bigger battery. Let's get to the root cause f…

Can you run other python scripts (non metawear)? Can you check that metawear is properly installed and compiled?

I am also concerned your battery is dead and that could be why you don't see the LED flash. In that case, your board isn't in metaboot because it is stuck, it is in that mode because the battery is dead/over-depleted. In that case, you will need to…

The LED might not flash and that's ok. Just short pin 4 and 7 real quick (for just 1ms or less). Once the reset is done, try to connect to the board with a fresh iPhone + metabase combo. This has worked for 100% of people that have had issues.
-
Yes, that's what I wanted to confirm because I am worried it is too many devices on that +3V line.
-
Please do a hard reset: www.mbientlab.com/troubleshooting. Then try to do a fresh metabase install on an iPhone 7 or newer and update firmware on your board (please ONLY use an IOS device that has not been used before - borrow from a friend or coll…

You are possibly missing Windows file. Can you please go through this installation first: https://mbientlab.com/tutorials/Windows.html Install everything through the VS installer and when it is all done, try to run the .PY script again.

What is the vcc?

Also can you send us a diagram of how you are hooking up the devices (include the i2c lines and power/ground). I want to better understand your architecture/circuit.

@SamMasters08 Can you go back through the tutorial and make sure you have a ble 4.0+ supported ble adapter and then all of the supporting libraries are installed? Basically go through this tutorial and make sure your setup is kosher: https://mbien…

@irmw i2c pull up value is 13k ohm (typical). You can add a lower value resistor if necessary. Please see datasheet: www.mbientlab.com/documentation for more info. Please make sure you can talk to each IC on the i2c line individually first befor…
