Did you try using different devices to connect to it? An Android phone, an iPhone, or a table, or a combination of devices?Also did you check if it was in the MetaBoot state?

Try holding the button down and connecting the USB cable.  It will put the device in Bootloader mode which will then show up in a ble scan as "MetaBoot".

Your battery is simply low or perhaps you did something that caused the board to go into MetaBoot. Use the sample MetaWear App and a good DMM to quickly debug this.

When the unit is briked it does not advertise at all including MetaBoot or MetaWear advertisements. This means you can't connect to it at all using the Nordic Tools or the MetaWear App.

Do you mean MetaBoot (switch + USB power on) is not working so you can not reload a firmware using Nordic tools DFU?

Your board might already in MetaBoot at this point. Try using the nRF toolbox at this point and see if you can flash the latest firmware with the nRF app.
