@ryanferrell any progress on this being ready? The test versions of MetaBase 5 were looking very promising, but it looks like development has stalled. Any updates from the team would be greatly appreciated.

@ryanferrell Thanks! I will see how I go with getting that running. My understanding of the different options to implement multiple CSV files is a little shaky, but it sounds like you have a few ways of making it work, which is very exciting. …

@ryanferrell Brilliant, the ability to stop logging without immediate download is number one on my list, this will be super useful. Will it also have the ability to log multiple files, and download later? This sounds similar to the logging trials…

@ryanferrell I am actually using an M1Pro MacBook Pro, and it all seems to work great. exactly as it does on an iPhone. I can't really comment on the Bluetooth signal specifically, as I have always made sure the sensors are very close (i.e., direct…

Thanks for the quick response, Laura. Just so I am clear, the metawear and metabase apps are getting updated, but will not include functionality to start/stop logging for later download over USB, is that right? If the above is the case, for pe…

Any update on when the iOS apps will be updated to start/stop logging for later download?

Has there been any more progress/updates on this? It would be great to be able to run the iOS apps on M1 Macs!

Ah this is brilliant!! From my little test just now, the data logging appears to stop when the download button is first pressed (and subsequently cancelled), which is what I was wanting. The app seems to indicate that data is still being logged (…

@jamieward said: I'd also be very interested in a solution to this. What I've been doing is starting the download then cancelling the download immediately, trusting that nothing will be deleted unless everything has been successfully downloaded. …

Hi @Laura, could we please have another update on progress? Thank you

Very good, thank you Laura

Hi @Laura As others have mentioned, are we able to get any updates on the progress of this update. It would be very helpful in planning for upcoming data collection. Thanks

Thanks @Laura, that’s great news. The sooner the better, but the next couple of weeks should be fine. Will the computer software run on MacOS, Windows and Linux?

Perfect, thanks Laura.

Thanks Laura. So I understand correctly, I can still only connect to 3-4 sensors at a time, but I can tell them to start logging data, then connect to a different 3-4 sensors and tell them to start logging, all with a single device (e.g., mobile a…
