* is 16g more accurate than 2g? No it is a bit less accurate (2g is more accurate than 16g but it's about what you are measuring, if you need to measure up to 16g than the 2g option doesn't make sense anyways) * if I got raw ACC. data like X = -0.0…

So this doesn't happen with a single device? What's your setup?

Hey @abferm, our internal protocol is a bit intricate so we have not planned to document it further than the cpp and c# libraries.

Can you post more information, screenshots, videos? Please refer to "How to Post"
-
In that case, you should try to experiment with the conn settings.
-
What about the other python scripts? Have you tried those? Try the led one.
-
just write a script in python to update timestamps.

* It is not possible unless you can find a 3v compliant part that can run on our small battery. typically gps modules are pretty power hungry and cannot be powered by our system. * ble is around 30m. # of connections is typically 3 but we and some …

We have no plans to provide a golang sdk at this time. If you have the skillset, you could write a golang wrapper around our cpp apis.
-
Is it better with ios? we have the least packet loss on linux machines. you can also mess with the ble conn settings.
-
It's not. There's just not enough resolution in the timestamps at the highest Hz (frequency) so you just have to reconstruct it yourself.

I suggest re-routing the vibration coin motor power to the battery directly. The issue is that everything is currently going through the SOC and the power must dip too low and cause a reset when all the sensors, bluetooth, and coin vibration motor a…

It might be best to stop streaming, send the haptic vibration, and then start streaming again.

Try to do things one at a time (led, then read the voltage...). Don't try to do it all at once. Once each element works, put it all together. This is best practice for development and debug.
-
Please read our tutorials and API docs and try to get one thing working at a time and then add them together.
-
does it work with python2.7 or have you tried python3 on another machine?
-
I don't know if an exact part but you should take a look at Newark and Digikey.
-
what do you mean?

Google some basic information about euler and quaternions first. Learn a bit about sensors and sensor fusion on the internet and figure out what you need for your project. Then once you are comfortable with the subject, see our tutorials. 1.whic…

You should get jumps in euler streams (from gimbal lock) but not from quaternion stream.
-
Thanks but there is still likely things affecting the magnet like your surroundings, the battery and so on. You can experiment in various ways and get back to us.

Doesn’t your app turns off the sensor when finishing logging data? Yes the app will turn off the sensors but a lot of folks forget to download the log or forget to stop the logging/streaming a lot of the times. Sleep is a safe bet to never f…

Hi Omri, I highly recommend putting them to sleep if you want to store them for 3 or more days. You can also leave them on a charger if you want. They will not go to sleep automatically. You need to turn off the sensors yourself or just use th…

Windows only supports 1 dongle at a time. Make sure the drivers are installed correctly and test it with our Python examples: www.mbientlab.com/tutorials.

You might need to sudo this.

@patrice, much thanks for the update!
-
The device has a fixed internal orientation that you cannot change. You would have to adjust the values yourself in software (post-process after you get the data from the sensor and adjust to your liking).
-
Thanks for the update. Seems updating firmware / resetting the board did the trick.

Should there be 2 sets of Euler Angles in the spreadsheet (since I have 2 sensors working simultaneously)? There will be 2 spreadsheets. Each with a set of euler angles belonging to a sensor. Can someone kindly point me out how to conv…
