does metawear api uses sys.stdout.write

Hi,
I am creating a gui and trying to change sys.stdout.write in order to create a console box inside my gui.
The issue is redirecting the sys.stdout.write causes problem in metawear functionality.. does the api uses sys.stdout.write?

Which Api? Can you post in the correct category?

i think that the problem was in tkinter and not this command.
still working on it - can be closed for now.
