Increase battery life with photovoltaic cell
Good morning,
I would like to implement a photovoltaic cell to increase the battery life of a MetaMotionC sensor.
The goal is to combine the cell to the battery by welding the connection of the cell to the sensor in a suitable way.
Did someone already tried this ?
I also seems that this could be easier on the MetaMotionR as there is already a slot for micro-usb plugging.

You can do anything as long as it is "USB compliant" on the MMR.
Usually most folks just attach a small portable charger to get more battery life to the MMR: https://www.amazon.com/POWERADD-EnergyCell-Portable-Lightest-Compatible/dp/B07MBF4ZLN
You cannot and SHOULD not do this for the MMC. I can only handle coin batteries and nothing else.
