Battery getting discharged quickly

Hi,

I am using metawear RG PRO, since last few days the battery is getting discharged completely within 1-2 hrs even when not connected to the app, and it gets discharged completely within 15-20 mins when streaming data, earlier it was not the case battery could last for weeks.

what to do, should i replace battery ?

What is your typical metawear usage? Did the battery completey drain at one point?

My usage is to stream accle and gyro for 30-45 minutes at a time and analyse them.

Yes the battery drain completely, I have attached this battery

The battery voltage looks fine. Does the board work when powered by a USB cable? It's possible the battery was not correctly soldered on.

No the board doesn't work when powered by USB cable.

I noticed that there may be moisture or salt deposited on the board. If I try to clean and reattach new battery, as a local technician suggested, will it work?

Should i remove the battery and check by connecting USB only instead?

Yes, you should clean the board, remove the battery, and try powering the board by USB.
