MetaWear does not run an OS. It is not meant for Android Wear development.

yes, but you would have to control your watch from your phone.
Take a look at something like
http://www.instructables.com/id/I2C-LCD-Controller-the-easy-way/
which should give you the know-how to add an LCD to your metawear. After that, use an app to pair your phone, and send data to the "watch". That may work no?
