Logging GPIO data on MetaTrackr

Is there a way to log and save analog GPIO data on the MetaTrackr device? I am trying to log microphone data over an extended period of time. I have successfully streamed the data, however I need to be able to continue reading when the app is closed. I have found information about logging the digital pin changes, but I need the analog signal from the microphone.

Any suggestions?

Logging is the same for all MBLEvent objects:

Replace the event in the sample code with the periodic read event from the analog pin.
