Can a device be both a single device and within a group in metabase?
I recently created my first group of three sensors (one C and two Rs). I noticed that it pulled all three devices from my "device" list when it created the group and now I am unable to add them back as single devices. Is this normal? I was hoping to be able to have different sensors be allocated to different groups (or just to be used individually) for different tests.
I am using the windows app and current revs for all firmware.

No, once a device is added to a group, it can only be used with that group until said groups is removed.
