My App is based on the Starter tutorial, MainActivity.java.

When it compiles, Android Studio flags that the Activity uses or overrides a deprecated API and this is a problem trying to create a signed APK.

In debug and test mode, it all works well despite the warning.

Has this code been updated or superseded ??
