Accelerometer raw data

I'm new to wearable devices. I'm using mbient-MMR to collect the data from ACC. and gyroscope. For ACC. with 100Hz and 16g,
1. is 16g more accurate than 2g?
2. if I got raw ACC. data like X = -0.0155, is it in g unites? and if I want to convert X to m/s^2. Do I have to divide it by 16g (X/(16*9.8)) = -9.8852e-05 ?
thanks for the answers in advance.

    1. is 16g more accurate than 2g? No it is a bit less accurate (2g is more accurate than 16g but it's about what you are measuring, if you need to measure up to 16g than the 2g option doesn't make sense anyways)
    2. if I got raw ACC. data like X = -0.0155, is it in g unites? and if I want to convert X to m/s^2. Do I have to divide it by 16g (X/(16*9.8)) = -9.8852e-05 ? It is a g units

Thank you @Laura. do I have to divide it by g or 16g?
    where g = 9.8 m/s^2.
