@Srinivasa I will make an announcement once we release the firmware and SDKs in the forum
-
We are strongly considering the move based on user reviews / feedback.
-
The App full source code is on Github.
-
We are making changes to the MetaBase app currently so some of the branches may not be working. The master branch should work but I don't have enough info from your last post to comment. You would need to show me your xcode env and take some screen…
-
Firmware 1.7.0 is for MMS only.
-
Likely a cache bluetooth state with your device, thanks for the update @ijimenez
-
Actually if its blinking like that it is very good. Can you make sure all other bluetooth devices are very far away, remove all other metawears, computers and phones from your room. Then take one smartphone and scan the room with the nordic app and…
-
I recommend reseting the device as often as your app allows it.
-
There is no range function for a connection. That's for the accelerometer.
-
@Raghav, I'll see what I can do.
-
@Raghav and @jamiebiswas, Sorry we don't have any Java developers at this time so we can't comment much on this code.
-
* You can use our tx power setting to improve the bluetooth. Also removing the pcb from the case helps as well. * Can't comment without seeing the code and knowing if its used correctly. * You are not doing anything wrong, unfortunately USB and Bl…

@andrew2, apologies, will do this asap!
-
That sounds correct @atonino, you can check out our example apps, they are open source and use anonymous downloads (especially the new MetaWear iOS one).
-
@anthonybenking, Please get a new coin cell battery and connect with a different smartphone. You can also try to update the firmware but it's likely your cell phone has cached the state and it's not actually in metaboot. In that case, only using a…

Correct. 1.7.0 is required. You need the latest Python SDK as well. Our sensor doesn't work like a USB flash device, USB is more like a serial port and so it's a bit slower.
-
Hi @arzt2283, This is not possible. Thanks for the feedback @andrew2, let me know if you need help.
-
Correct. Only MMS has USB support. MMC is Bluetooth only.
-
Nice!, thanks for the update @renev
-
Hard to say much without code. Why not use our code, it's all open source?
-
@Srinivasa, The SDK was updated.
-
You need to use anonymous downloads for this.
-
Do I understand correctly: there is no way of adding a timestamp to the quaternion signal to fix transfer hiccups? Correct.
-
@mcrooks, Thank you for the update, we do have this reset recommendation in our tutorials. A lot of times it is easy to have code put the device in a bad state.
-
Hey @Zuzzy, It was pretty bad, some of the components on your board, including a capacitor had been completely destroyed and removed from the board. I think in your case the board took a very hard shock not typically seen. Some folks do cover our …
-
Hey @toffy_dee, Unfortunately we don't have an Android developer right now so we are not able to support Java development. We are currently looking for someone to join our team and will let you know when we have found them.
-
Hi Ivan, It is hard to know what is wrong but I recommend a hard reset and then try to use the Nordic app to see if it is advertising after that. Pictures also would help
-
Yes you can do download and log at the same time. Unfortunately we don't have anyone who can help with Android code right now.
-
Alright, lookout for this on Github in the coming week.
-
No, the USB works via Python only right now and we will add USB functionality soon. If you want to use the CPP SDK you have to add a third party USB/Serial lib yourself. The connections (BLE and USB) are always abstracted from the CPP.
