Connection problems with MetaWear RG - doesn't connect unless charging

I'm using MetaWear RG, the MetaWear app, and iOS 7.1. I'm unable to stay connected to the device unless it is plugged into a charging source. It would seem like a battery issue but it reads '99'. I've updated the firmware and downloaded the latest app version, closed/reopened the app, and turned the phone off/on. Even when plugged in, many of the app's functions don't work, such as the LEDs, although the accelerometer does work.

I'm at a loss here...it has always worked in the past. Any suggestions are welcome.

Given how old your version of IOS is I would probably update that to something newer as well since I don't think many people are using that version.

Unfortunately neither suggestion worked. I think the board is damaged. Thank you for your efforts though.

What firmware and ios API were you using prior to updating everything?

Not sure, I believe it was API 1.5.0 and firmware v1.0.0
