No Connection on Newer Metatwear Rs

Hello,

I have two versions of Metawear Rs:  1)  one that I purchased on 10/29/2015 and 2) ones that I purchased 12/09/2015. 

I have a connection issue with 2) that I cannot solve. 

Here are the symptoms:

1) I open the sample app and tap "Get Started"
2) All the devices show up on the list.
3) I tap the one that I purchased in Dec. 2015. 
4) The app attempts to connect but never succeed. (The screen goes to the detail page. The connection state changes from "Not Connected" -> "Discovery" -> (and sometimes) "Disconnecting".  And it will stay like that as long as I wait. (It is not an occasional problem -- they just never connect.) 

The one I purchased earlier was problem-free and I could start working on it within minutes after I opened the box... I spent hours with the new ones and I still can't even connect :-( Please help!
