Android source code not working

Hi,

I tried to use the apk from https://github.com/mbientlab/Metawear-SampleAndroidApp/releases/tag/3.4.19, and its working fine in my samsung grand 2

but when I am downloading the source code from the same link and trying to run that apk, its not working. It shows "App stopped working". Could anyone help me on this..
