Crash when reading battery level

I am accessing a MetaWear sensor from an iOS app. I am experiencing intermittant crashes when I ask for the battery life. The crash is a SIGSERV at the following line of code: -[MBLMetaWear peripheral:didUpdateValueForCharacteristic:error:] (MBLMetaWear.m:1531)

Is there other state I should be checking before I ask for the battery life?

This should have been fixed with version 2.13, can you double check you have the latest app?
