How I can calculate strides ?

Hi,
I purchased a motion r sensor and I want to calculate strides in a object. How I can use the information in the sensor to calculate that? Additional can I get the data trough the Bluetooth ?

    The BMI160 has a step counter built in to the sensor so you can simply query that value.  Yes, you can stream the data through the bluetooth link.
