Matlab Real time data - BLE Protocol

Hello All,

This is my first post and first expirence with MetaWearC PRO, I am planning to use the sensor to get live data in to MATLAB...

I have seen that there was not a lot of success with this in the past, I am hoping that I will managed to get somwhere with my project...

I am looking for an explanation of the BLE protocol, could someone point me at this?

I am then planning to connect to Matlab via HCI commands using CC2540 USB dongle... I have managed to get this working with TI's SensorTag but they provide quite well described BLE protocol:

Is there something here that would help me understand which commands I need to send to active sensor readings ? Or I need to dig this information out from API provided?

From my inital work this MetaWear's GATT is not very user friendly as there is only one service for all sensors??

There's no documentation available per say other than the APIs.  You can checkout the unit tests of the various APIs to see what byte arrays are expected for the commands and responses.

Yes, there is only 1 MetaWear GATT service that handles all communications with the boards.
