Gesture recognition

Hi,
I am looking at a gesture pattern where we can analyze the 3 axis(x,y,z) motion data to recognize hand movements like pick-up, put-down etc.
We are not able to achieve that yet.
Do you have any suggestion on this?

    Sanjeev,

    You should prototype on some of the large dev boards with the IMU embedded and when we release gyro support you can port all of your algorithms over to our platform.

    As far as I am aware no one makes a tiny BLE+ARM+IMU dev board (but we will soon!).

    Is your new platform going to have magneto meter as well?
    When can we expect your new board to release?

    We are hoping it will be early 2015. We will have flavors with different sensors so we will likely include the magnetometer.
