iOS API tapEvent help

should tapEvent.startNotificationsWithHandler be working with the iOS API? I've tried various combinations of tapDetectionAxis and tapType. I've tried it with dataReadyEvent.startNotificationsWithHandler running and without, but I never get any events. I've tried various sampleFrequency and fullScaleRange settings as well.

any suggestions appreciated!

Yes it is working.  The sample app has a "Start Tap Detection" button which enables it (you might want to check that out https://github.com/mbientlab/Metawear-SampleiOSApp/blob/master/MetaWearApiTest/DeviceDetailViewController.m)

Here is the revenant line:

[self.device.accelerometer.tapEvent startNotificationsWithHandler:^(id obj, NSError *error) {

    self.tapLabel.text = [NSString stringWithFormat:@Tap Count: %d, ++self.tapCount];

}];

Ok, after updating to FW 1.0.0 and API 1.5.0, it is working. However, it seems I cannot do both tap detection and accelerometer data streaming (it doesn't work in the sample app either) - are there any plans for that?

There are some updates underway now that should address that.  I will make sure to test that case out specifically and let you know.
