SOS Trigger App Method of sending messages

Hi,

I am checking out the SOSTrigger Android app. My query is how can the Metawear send a message to the configured number without a SIM card.

    Samir,
    Devices can use Wifi without a SIM card to send out messages. 
    The SOSTrigger example/use-case requires a SIM card.
