MetaMotionR Rectangular Rechargeable Wireless Sensor, affected by a neodymium magnet?

I would like to make my MetaMotionR Rectangular Rechargeable Wireless Sensor attach to metallic equipment/machinery via a strong "watch battery size" neodymium magnet. The magnet would be attached to, or be located along side, the MetaMotionR with both items encased within a plastic case housing. I need to know if the neodymium will affect in any way the sensor properties MetaMotionR. The accelerometer, barometer, and temperature sensor must be unaffected 100% (the magnetometer would obviously be affected, but it's properties are not needed in my application). Any thoughts?

The metal will affect the magnetometer and will slightly attenuate the bluetooth signal. Assuming the magnet is a reasonable size, no other items will be affected in any way.
