Stuck in MetaBoot MetaMotionR
One of the sensors we have received appears to be stuck in MetaBoot mode.
I tried charging it, checked the battery reached 4.12V
I tried desoldering and soldering it again
I tried the hard reset
I downloaded the Nrf connect and tried the 1.3.6, 1.3.7, 1.4.2 , 1.44 firmware but none worked it always fails with DFU remote failure. I tried it both from android 8.1 and iOS iphone 6
I am attaching the log file from nrf connect
The device version reported is 0.3
and the software 0.3.2
The serial number string is 0200CE
Model number string is 5
MetaBase does not see the device
I would appreciate it if you could help me resolve this issue

Also try the nordic app, see the other threads about this.
I have already tried all available steps, I asked for support via email where I send all the info mentioned in the your quoted thread and I was told to post here for help. I have seen all the posts. I have already tried the nordic app (nrf connect as I mentioned)
I want to know is there a specific firmware that I should try or if there is something more I can do, like try an nrf DK programmer maybe?
Link to the specific firmware binaries you were trying to upload. You probably were using the wrong ones.
The links I used to download the binaries are

Can you do the hard reset while the unit is plugged in (short pins) and then use a brand new iPhone to connect to the sensor (one that has never been used before with your sensors).
Do this exactly as written...don't use an android phone, don't use the same iphone, don't skip steps...
Take pictures of this process as evidence in your follow up post.
Thanks Laura,
Using an Iphone 5S that I had not used before worked and the Metabase app updated the firmware. Apparently thought the device has some issues because the battery does not last more than a couple of days without using it at all.
Probably a bad battery.
Great news. You can start a new thread or check other threads regarding the battery.
