MetaBase firmware update makes devices undiscoverable

I used the MetaBase app on Android S9+ to try to update the firmware on my MMR devices. After crashing several times and sending a report, the devices are completely undiscoverable. I've tried soft reset.

Assuming this gets fixed, how can I update the firmware through computer? Specifically linux, if possible. The mobile app is only destructive.

    Can you either use the Windows MetaBase App or preferably the iOS Metabase app? If you can borrow a friends iPhone, this would be ideal.
    Get back to me on this.
    A soft reset on the devices + restart of the Android S9 phone should have worked as well but we don't have enough information from your side to comment further (would need videos, screenshots and so on - replicable steps are ideal).
