MMR/MMC Changing data collection frequency

Hello,
My team and I recently purchased an MMC and MMR for a school project. My team wants to collect accelerometer data and data from an external force sensor connected to the MMR/MMC via the GPIO pins. However, the accelerometer data is being collected at 50Hz where as the external sensor is only collecting data at 30Hz. So my question is, is there any way we can get the MMC or MMR to output one file with both these types of data collected at the same frequency? Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

    Use the APIs: www.mbientlab.com/tutorials and then write a script in python or js to combine everything...
