Stuck on firmware 1.2.2

edited July 2020 in Firmware

Model: MetaWear CPro
Model Number: 2
Firmware: 1.2.2
Hardware: 0.3

When using the MetaBase app to update the firmware I get a popup showing the message "Firmware update failed (reason = No value for bootloader)".

I use an Android phone and don't have access to an iPhone.

  • Hi @fridenmf,

The MetaWearCPRO is no longer supported by MetaBase. It is already at the latest firmware 1.2.2.

I have two MetWear CPro, model 2, hardware 0.3 running firmware 1.2.2, that I understand is the last version for these devices. I got these on a campaign you run on Kickstarted in 2016 :-/

The metabase application does not allow me to do anything if I do not update the firmware. The problem is that, as you said before, there is no firmware to update.

How can I use/configure the device? Can I upload a custom firmware written by my own? How do I put the device on "upload mode"?

    Thanks

  • The CPRO latest firmware is 1.2.2. This model is no longer supported.
We currently only support the MMC.
