I am trying to update my python package (metawear 0.7.0) through pip but I am receiving the runtime error "MetaWear Python SDK not supported for 'Windows'". Is the new update not supported on windows?
No, we are no longer supporting Windows.
You can get the source code and compile it yourself for Windows, it's just not supported by us (not enough man power)

Ah okay, thank you for the heads up. If I may ask, what is new in 0.8.2 than 0.7.0?
Does this new update and firmware resolve the issue of getting absolute orientation with respect to magnetic north in NDOF mode for the sensor fusion algorithm? Or does NDOF still give orientation relative to the initial sensor position prior to streaming?

It is for firmware 1.5.1

Firmware 1.5.1 allows you to tare the sensor fusion.
