Battery fried?

Hi, i am unable to connect to my sensor after trying all the typical tricks. I opened it up and read the voltage reading between the GND and BAT+ terminals and found there was no power getting to the board, even though the battery had been charged.

I exposed the terminals of the battery and found 2.17V across the battery terminals, but no voltage across the black and red cable (see attached picture). Is there a fix? THanks!

    Looks like the battery over discharged. You have to jump it now like a car battery (the protection circuitry is preventing it from charging). You can do that if you have a Power supply handy. Let me know.

    4.2v 50ma constant current (be careful)
