Accelerometer and gyroscope not accessible in MetaBase

Hello,

we have several MMCs that since a certain time do not show the accelerometer or gyroscope when we configure a new session. Is this a common problem? When we try Quaternion we get an error message as well. What can we do. Firmware is 1.5.1 HW 0.2

Be sure that you have updated to the latest version of the MetaBase App.

Are all of your devices affecter, or just some? Are they affect all the time or just some of the time?

If the IMU sensors on the device are damaged, they may no longer be detected during firmware initialization. It may help to go to the Diagnostic page, then Advanced, to issue a reset to a device. This will give the firmware another chance to detect the IMU sensors.

    Hello Matt,

we have about 20 MMC chips and round about 10 to 15 are affected. With the affected chips the problem is permanent. The MetaBase app is up to date. We tried with Android and IOS devices. Always the same problem.

When we try to configure e.g. gravity or linear accelerometer we get the following error: " Attempt to invoke interface method 'com.mbientlab.metawear.ConfigEditorBase com.mbientlab.metawear.module.Accelerometer.configure()' on a null object reference "

    Do you have any advice?

  • Hi Torsten,
For one or two of those MMCs, can you send me the diagnostic file?
