Control the HCD pin as a GPIO

Is it possible to control the HCD pin as a GPIO pin?  I would like a bit more flexibility than what the hapticbuzzer class gives me (e.g. set the frequency of signal).

    No, the only configurable options on the HCD is the duty cycle and pulse width.
