streaming frequency

In streaming accelerometer data with the current metabase app, I find that if I choose 50 Htz for example, the actual data recorded is only 16 Htz approximately. At 100 Htz, its approx 32 Htz recorded. Would setting up the ble streaming freq connection solve this problem? Thanks
