Meta Health heart-rate pulse sensor
Hello,
I have a few questions about the built-in Meta Health heart-rate pulse sensor:
- Can it measure the heart rate from the wrist when used with the "Meta C Watch Band" ?
- If yes, does it also work when you exercise sport intensively (like tennis/running where you sweat excessively and move a lot) ?
- Does it use up the battery a lot?

We are still updating the MetaHealth so keep checking back here for updated specs:

A lot can change between now and the Q1 2017 release date!
To answer your questions:
- Can it measure the heart rate from the wrist when used with the "Meta C Watch Band" ? Yes
- If yes, does it also work when you exercise sport intensively (like tennis/running where you sweat excessively and move a lot) ? It works best when you record your heart rate during your break or post workout. It is an optical sensor so it has to be snug and fit against the wrist.
- Does it use up the battery a lot? It is an optical sensor, it works with a green LED so it uses the battery the same way an LED would. You can check the datasheet for exact specs.
Thanks,-Laura
