Hi! I'd like to know if it's possible to remove the solder points which keep the battery attached to the MetaWear C, and if the MetaWear would be still working. The plate would still connected, but not by the solder points. Thanks!
I'm not entirely sure I understand what you are asking about removing. Do you mean the metal battery clip/battery holder?
The metal piece is not necessary to electrically connect the left and right sides of the board, so it will operate just fine with the piece removed so long as it is connected to a 3V and Ground of some power source.
When connecting an external power source, you can connect via the exposed pads (Ground) and the solder points of the clip (3V), or you can connect to the 3V and Ground pins of the pin header.
