If you stream sensor data, you will reduce the battery life because the Bluetooth stream uses energy. However, if you are logging, you will need to plug in the device when you are ready to download the sensor data as the battery may have run out by then. Depending on how much data was logged, it may require hours to download the data which this calculator does NOT account for.
