MetaBase App¶
We provide the MetaBase App which allows you to configure your MetaSensors and access the sensor data. MetaBase is available on iOS, and Android App stores for FREE.

The MetaBase App allows you to stream data from 2-3 MetaSensors at the same time. Although MetaSensors can have infinite connections; it is not possible to connect more due to hardware and OS level constraints on the device running the MetaBase App.
If you want to connect more than 3 sensors simultaneously, you will need to use a Linux PC or the MetaHub with multiple dongles. Programming is required.
Compatibility¶
The MetaBase App is available for Apple iOS devices (tablets/phones):
iOS 12 or newer.
iPhone 4s or newer.
iPad 3rd generation or newer.
iPod touch 5th generation or newer.
The MetaBase App is available on Android devices:
Android 10.0 or newer.
Make sure it is a proper/newer Android device (beware of cheap Chinese Android tablets and refurbished 10 year old Taiwanese phones, they will not work reliably. We recommend Google endorsed devices 5 years old or newer). Some of our users have noted that some Huawei phones do not work.
Older Google Pixel Phones are not recommended (due to issues on the Bluetooth radio reported by Pixel owners)
Setup¶
To use the MetaBase App, follow the steps:
Make sure Bluetooth is ON.
Some phones require location services to be on as well.
Make sure your device is Bluetooth 4.0+.
Go to your favorite App store.
Search for “MetaBase”.
Download the MetaBase App.
Warning
Do NOT use the settings screen or menu of your device to connect to your MetaSensor.
Note
Do NOT use third-party Apps to connect to your MetaSensor.
